Ramps and Repairs Happening in Lancaster & Northumberland in April 2025

The Ramp & Repair Division of Interfaith continues to fulfill the Interfaith Mission of “Spreading God’s love through Service”. In the book of James, it talks about taking care of the Orphans and widows and faith without works is dead and we are living out these verses.

In April, our volunteer team was able to:

  • Build two landings and ramps
  • Replace a landing and ramp near Reedville
  • Rebuild a landing with steps in the Merry Point area
  • Had a professional roofer complete a roof replacement on a roof that was unsafe for our volunteers
  • Repair a door at a home near Burgess
  • Facilitated a mini split installation donated by a third party for a lady that was heating her house with her oven.
  • Facilitated a mini split installation donated by a third party for a 74-year old lady that lives in a camper near Callao.
  • Facilitated an electrical repair donated by a third party.

This coming weekend, a group of 50 adults and children from New Kent Christian Center will be joining us to complete two ramps and a landing. Preparations have also begun for another group of 50 teenagers that will be working with us in June. Currently, we have 9 jobs that have been approved and 14 that are in the evaluation and approval process.
