Interfaith Service Council of Northumberland and Lancaster Counties in Virginia

Wheelchair Ramp in Ocran, Virginia

Since 1982, Interfaith Service Council, whose mission is to “Spread God’s Love Through Service” has provided the citizens of Northumberland and Lancaster with hundreds of no cost wheelchair ramps, new roofs and other critical home repairs. This service continues today, having completed 30 repair jobs in the past twelve months.

This week, David Lacy, the Ramp & Repair Division Lead reported that Interfaith volunteers completed two jobs, including a new roof in Lancaster and a wheelchair ramp in the Ocran area.

"It is a true blessing to provide easy and safe home access to folks with mobility issues at not cost to them. To see the smiles and tears of gratitude as an elderly person cruses down their new wheelchair ramp is priceless!"

Interfaith Service Council supports the local business community, by exclusively using Lamberth Building Materials of White Stone for all of our materials. Lamberth always provides us with quality materials, on time deliveries and professional service”. Thanks to all of the Interfaith supporters and volunteers as we continue to “Spread God’s Love through Service”.
